WHAT IS A GOOD LCD TV TO BUY?

I asked my parents for a decent LCD tv for Christmas and they said okay. So now I have to pick one out. Can anyone give me some good tv's that are under $300? Nothing humongous. Maybe 24" or under. I would prefer name brands such as Samsung, Mitsubishi, Sony, Vizio, etc., etc. :) Thanks!

Update:

I'd be using it mostly for gaming since I don't get anything but 4 local channels in my room.

    I would suggest Samsung LN22B360 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV.Good picture quality and good price.

    I've owned many - the best that I've had in terms of quality are Sony and Samsung (samsungs get darker faster, after like 2000 hours) but in terms of price, Vizio can't be beat. They are great gaming/pc/movie TVs for about half as much as all the others.
