can you paint already colored polymer clay?

well i bought 4 sculpey polymer baking clay that are already coloured and doesnt need painting [white, tan/brown, red, purple]. Although, i want to paint the white clay. if i can paint it though, do i paint it before or after baking?

    No problem what so ever.

    Use acrylic paint after baking. The clay needs to be no warmer than room temperature.

    Eye shadow works good on small projects. The variety of colors are much more vast than alcohol inks or pastel chalk and less expensive.
