Where is a fun and cool place to stay in British Columbia?
Taking a family vacation over Christmas break and want a fun place to stay. Both as far as location and a hotel/lodge/cabin. Something in a scenic location that won't be super expensive. We'd travel from Seattle, so north/east BC might be too far.

Go to Vancouver Island, and stay in Victoria! There is loads of beautiful scenery, friendly and hospitable people and it's not as expensive as Vancouver. But make sure you visit Vancouver also, or else your trip won't be complete! You can get a farry from Seattle to Victoria and from Victoria to Vancouver (it's about a 3 hour ride)!
