A Kia Rio '13 going for $10k at the dealership. It's below invoice...can I still negotiate on that?
It's the hamburger car. The one they offer to get people in so they can upgrade and sell them the steak. Can I still try and shave some money off that? I would have no problem giving the salesman a sweet $100-$200 tip if he hooked me up. Is that even possible?
5 AnswersBuying & Selling8 years agoTV screen has the wrong colors and some semi-permanent lines?
We lost the power cord, so I took another cord with the connector that has a round and square end, but my tv needs two round ends like: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/AudioQuest---6'-NRG-X-...
so i shaved off the square end to make fit. Now my tv color is off. We bought the cord at bestbuy shown in the link, but most of the dark colors are always off and there are some line across the bottom that are almost always there.
Is my tv ruined or can it be fixed? Thanks for the help everyone.
1 AnswerTVs9 years agoHow much should a home price be lowered on a FSBO from realtor listed?
My mother died a few years back. Now my bro. wants to buy the house. He says that since he is selling the house (technically he and I are selling it to him) and he is buying it, there is no need for a realtor. So he says he should pay 5% less than the appraisal price.
To me, it seems that if we sell it on our own, we should drop the price by ~2% from realtor prices so to make it a better deal to buyers. If we lower it the realtor costs, why not just get a realtor to do all the work? Please help, thanks!
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoWhere is a fun and cool place to stay in British Columbia?
Taking a family vacation over Christmas break and want a fun place to stay. Both as far as location and a hotel/lodge/cabin. Something in a scenic location that won't be super expensive. We'd travel from Seattle, so north/east BC might be too far.

He looks like a shorter slightly fatter Kid Rock. I think the song is about being lonely or something. It's a newer song. Only heard it once on the radio. Thanks for the help.

21 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoWith Obama & Clinton health care, what will stops dr's from raising their prices knowing the gov't has to pay?
With the Obama/Clinton health care plans (I've read both websites plans), whatever business owners can't afford to pay to cover their employees, the gov't pays for. As well as individuals who don't have a job, the gov't pays for what they can't afford. (I know it's not the gov't who pays but the rich who make over $250K) Knowing this, what's to stop dr's from raising their prices an enormous amount? Nothing as far as I can see. Then the gov't will have to put caps on how much dr's charge. At that point, how is that any different than communism? What do you guys think? I'm trying to figure this out on both sides. But this is where I am at right now.
10 AnswersElections1 decade agoIf Huckabee said Chuck Norris would be Secretary of Defense would you switch and vote for him?
I wasn't going for Huckabee before, but if he said that Chuck Norris would be the secretary of defense, I would have to vote for him, it would be awesome and it would probably be in all reality a good thing. With all the crap the ALL the candidates are feeding everyone, would that be enough for you to switch your vote for something that cool?
13 AnswersElections1 decade agoYahoo is biased in elections.Look @ the photos used of the top candidates & check out Romney & Huckabee!?
On the Yahoo! elections page there is a spot with the top 3 candidates from each party. Clinton, Obama, Edwards and McCain all have photos that look nice. Huckabee and Romney look goofy. It's obvious. I'm not stuck on any candidate, but Romney looks most like a president from a movie and they have some photo of him with a lost look. That's not unbiased coverage. What do you think about the photos?
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat airline or online site offers cheapest flights to chile? which US city is cheapest to fly from?
I live in Seattle and it is around $1000 to fly to Santiago, Chile. I have a free round trip area in the US, so is there a city where flights to Santiago are cheapest? Like Dallas or Miami or L.A.? Thanks.

2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoCandidates say the are against lobbyist groups, then why don't they publish who finances their campaigns?
Many candidates have said they are against special interest groups in Washington. Yet the candidates are getting millions of dollars from somewhere. If they aren't getting paid by special interest groups then they should publish or say the names of those who are financing them to prove a point (at least the major donors). They don't because they are afraid. Any way to find out this info and what are your thoughts?
6 AnswersElections1 decade agoThe Candidates all promise Change, but they don't specify how!?
They say that the old way wasn't working and we need to change the system. For example offer healthcare to everyone. They never state specifically how. Like where the money is coming from to fund it, who will run it. How long it will take. What are predicted results upon doctors businesses and if they will force doctors to accept the coverage. They are worse then people who write horoscopes. I've checked their official campaign pages. Can anyone give me any details of what they plan?
