Flying national flags, singing anthems, fierce support of international sports teams as well as the military of your country and other such things. Nationalism is sometimes likened to racism in some countries, usually this is an over exaggeration although some, although certainly not the majority, see nationalism as being a reason for racism.

There have been great displays of nationalism since the 9/11 attacks. People congregate every year on September 11th and call the names of the people who died on that day...that's nationalism. Anytime you see someone put an American flag (or other country) on their lawn or dashboard that's nationalism. Every time the Star Spangled Banner is sung at a baseball game, thats also nationalism.

nationalism is just having pride in your country, so apply that to what your learning now
