Why is this "product intended for adult use only?"?

I frequently see that on the labels of hygienic products--body wash, shampoo, soap--it says "Product intended for adult use only." I find this rather disturbing. Why?

    That or a kid might burn their eyes or do something harmful to themselves.

    Because the product is primarily used as lube. It's just called body wash or shampoo for a cover-up. Obviously kids can't use lube.

    kids don't need products. kids need trix. adults need products.
