I think i got thrown in. They really don't teach you about how actual life is when you are in school. Once you are on your own get married, have kids, go through divorce, you really get a grasp on the way life actually is. Sure you know how to add and subtract, and perhaps write a correct sentence, but how about things that really effect your life..Like perhaps a marriage going bad. what are the best steps to take. Custody of children, what is the best for the kids. Having to sell your house, should a person try to hang on to it, or sell it and start over when if the chance comes?.....Many many things aren't taught in school. You have to live one day at a time, mistakes will be made, but the smart ones can learn from past mistakes and make a better future for themselves as well as others.

I "tried" to step into it.
I thought I was old enough to grow up/take care of myself and my mom let me do what I want, even though she knew I would fail.
