Are you sure there isn't one on the other leg? Cats do have a "dew claw" about an inch above the others on their front legs. It might be that this one has got damaged and infected, and if she is limping it would be best to get her to the vet asap. It could be that the swelling on the leg is making the dew claw stick out so that it is more noticeable. If the claw is actually another cat's claw that is stuck in, which is very unlikely, you still need to see the vet. Bathing any infection with warm salty water (a tablespoonful to a pint, and hold the paw in the water as long as she will let you - five mins or more)will help to combat the infection and aid healing but should be done as a support to medical attention rather than instead of it unless you really really can't afford it. Do go to the vet and get a proper diagnosis if you can.

take it to the vet because teeth and claws from cats can cause major infections they have a chemical that is toxic watch a rabbit that has a quick attack from a cat and he will slowly start to stop breathing it is fatal to small animals and birds so it could cause a problem for the cat possibly a infection that will cause him or her to walk funny or even lose total use of leg

Cats can get overstimulated by being touched or by seeing action. have been you perhaps tapping your foot to music or something like that? Overstimulated cats attack the two the hand (or despite is touching them) or the moving merchandise (leg? arm? hand?). it rather is relaxing to get a cat going with a toy, which I comprehend you probably did no longer do, even nevertheless it somewhat is the two painful and hazardous while your physique, no longer a toy, is the object attacked. Wash and clean your wounds nicely. Cat scratches can substitute into badly contaminated (however the bites are worse).

If you really care about your cat you would get on the phone and call the vet instead of asking people on here. She could get a bad infection.
