Is it illegal to be seen in your home shower-showering with the window open-if your privates are not visible?
My friend is building a new shower in his house and said he plans to use the window as ventilation - shower with the window open. His plan is to have it open while he showers and says it is not illegal to be seen naked from the waist up even if people know he is showering. This sounds a little "on the edge" to me. I'm wondering if anyone knows the law regarding this. Thanks!

It sounds like your friend might be a closet pervert , Humphrey !
It`s a simple matter to install an exhaust fan to remove moisture from a bathroom . NO ONE uses a bathroom window for "ventilation" !
If he can be seen from the street , backlane , or any other public property while he`s showering , or otherwise cavorting in the bathroom with his clothes off , even if only his upper half can be seen , he`s in serious trouble if someone reports him !
If it`s a situation where it`s possible to see him from the street and walk up to the window and look inside , he`ll end up on the sex offender registry for the next 20 years .......... if he`s not already on it !
Does this friend seem overly fond of little children ?? Does he invite little kids over to his house for "candy" ?? Does he like to go to playgrounds and "talk" to little kids ??
I`d reconsider my friendship with this guy if I were you , Otis !

If he's in plan sight of a public area or a neighboring property then it's illegal even if you can only see his face, or his feet, because he's naked in public if he's seen in public while naked, not just if his naughty bits are showing.
If his window is facing into his own back yard and it's not overlooked then he's perfectly OK.
He really should put a fan in as ventilation. A window won't cut it. His drywall will go moldy and he will get mildew on his surfaces and in the grout.
