Care to read a crochet poem for Giggles?

Mending

In the shade of fish shacks

Above the docks,

Hiding in the late morning

From the hot,

Mediterranean sun,

Raphael's

Dark, gnarled fingers work

The hooks,

Repairing the damage

Of the mero's last defense,

Preparing to reap the sea's bounty

Once again.

Update:

Yes, after reading another Yahoo! posting by Giggles about crocheting a paper coffee cup cozy. I thought it was funny, and it made me think about crocheting, which I used to do myself, a bit -though nothing like my mother, grandmother and great grandmother who were quite adept. And of course crocheting is a required skill for certain professions.

Update 2:

Actually, it should have been "the hook" singular. Sorry for the typo.

I am honored that my 'waste of time' poem inspired you

    this is good

    I love it!

(I come from a long line of crocheters but because of disc damage in my neck, my attempts to crochet are not very good--can't get tension even with hook in hand...)

    I Love this one

    very cute!!!!!!!

    :)

    giggling!
