Why was my husband's attorney allowed to speak to my parents?
And can I turn this attorney in for ethical questionability?

You got it all wrong.
Your husband's attorney don't need "your" consent; he need's "your ex husband's consent", but not yours.
You are NOT the client of your husband's attorney.

You have hired an attorney, call and ask them about the situation, they'll be able to better advise you.
