Just for personal clarity, are there ever any references to gay marriage in the bible?

Matt 19:4 ..... Jesus states marriage is between a man and a woman.

    OLD TESTAMENT

    Leviticus 18:22

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

    NEW TESTAMENT

    Romans 1:26-27

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet”

Whatever it might be, it is not MARRIAGE, which stems from the Latin for 'maternity"....that is motherhood.. Which can not be accomplished by members of the same gender.

In the Hebrew Old Testament, yes. Such references are hidden by the translators of the English Bibles.

One such marriage is recorded in detail. A second one is mentioned only in passing. The link below examines both.

All sins, including homosexuality are completely forgiven when you believe in Jesus alone for salvation.
