93 mercury marquis window is stuck down?
only on driver side previous owner said put new motor in and gave me reciept worked fine then rolled down and now stuck can't even push up. what could be the problem

if you put the switch up and you hear the motor, the window regulator broke, don't hear anything, either switch or motor

had the same problem. on my mercury grand marquis, the wire the makes the window go up and down got all tangled up and the window would not go up again even though the motor would run. needed to replace the regulator (part with the wire in it) not the motor.
