Can I make a lemon pie from a mix with just egg whites?

I have six egg whites in my fridge and a Sheriff lemon pie filling mix. I'm wondering if, instead of using two egg yolks in the filling I could use two egg whites instead. Would there be a noticeable difference in the taste or texture of the filling?

I don't know if you'll like the results or not. I've always used the yolks in the filling and then their whites for the meringue on top. I'm not sure the whites would cook up as thick as the yolks.

I'd keep the whites and make some coconut macaroons (like I did last weekend - I can't even remember what I used the yolks in!) or an egg white omelet.
