What is the best curling mascara?

I desperately need an amazing way to curl my eyelashes, because like my hair, they're straight as a board. I would also love some volume.

Currently, I have a regular, $7 Mabelline New York eyelash curler. I'll curl my eyelashes with that for about a total of 3-5 minutes, and then lightly apply mascara to eat set of eyelashes. I've only had one mascara that has worked to curl my eyelashes, but for some reason it's not in stores anymore! i think it was by mabelline in a blue container... call sky high curls or something?

i dont know, but basically what I'm looking for is something thatll keep my lashes extremely curled the whole day... and i mean extremee. not light.

Personally, I think it's the way you apply the mascara which gives you the curves. I start by applying the mascara from the base of the eyelashes and doing tiny left to right toothbrush-strokes up. Try doing this with your head tilted back while looking in a mirror. I do this relatively slow so that the mascara can dry up while my lashes are being pressed up by the mascara wand.

I think this technique would work best with this mascara by Tarte. I've tried it at Sephora in the store. This is also a good idea. Sephora has many on display mascaras and disposable mascara wands that you can use to try out many different mascaras.

I really recommend L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black. Not only does it hold a curl beautifully for an entire day, it gives great volume to lashes. I love it! Its my favorite, one and only mascara :)

They have different ones. Like theres one with a curved brush.

I hope I explained that right lol.

Best way to do it would be to keep the curler in place for about 10 seconds, do not pluse. Place the brush at the base of your lashes, wiggle the wand side to side while pulling through. This coats the lashes throughly. You could wait until the first coat dries, and curl your lashes again then apply more mascara for added drama.

I hope this helps you! <3
