By 2012 Obama will have about as much chance of being reelected that Lyndon Johnson had in 1968.

Lyndon Johnson chose not to run again rather than be humiliated in a loss by a huge margin.

I doubt that Obama will run for a second term.

At this point it would take several years to litigate the issue whether or not Obama is a Citizen of the United States of America.

By the time you finished litigating The Issue, Obama will already be out of office.

I hope obama runs again and then is forced to prove that he is legal or not, he kept saying that he was going to be so open and accessible.

Alota people here keep using the constitution, isn't that what we are trying to find out? is he really qualified under the constitution. Just because these people say he is does not prove he is and now i hear he is being sued because he wasn't even supposed to be a us senator.

It really is a mute issue at this point. The US Constitution states: No person except a natural born Citizen, OR A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.

According to citizenship laws in the US: If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is not, the child is a citizen if the US citizen parent has been "physically present" in the US before the child's birth for a total period of at least five years, and at least two of those five years were after the US citizen parent's fourteenth birthday.

So even if Obama was unable to produce a birth certificate from Hawaii, he would still be a US citizen because his mother meets the above requirements.

This is so dumb as it has been proven over and over again that he was born in Hawaii and is a citizen of the United States and I get so tired of hearing this. It amazes me how so many people are goofy enough to keep bringing it up. Give it up ok? Obama is definately right about one thing..we need people in this country to get more educated. Once again, it is a fact that Obama's original, Hawaiian birth certificate has never been seen by anyone, except possibly Dr. Fukino of the State of hawaii health Department or so she says. The Huffington Post and Politico . com have inferred that the staffers of Fact chek .org have seen Obama's BC, touched it, examined it and photographed the original certifcate. That simply is not the case . Experts have already proven that it is a phony, probably a forged copy of his .sister's BC. The one on Fact Chek . org online is typical of one of someone born years after Obama.

Many court cases have been brought up where the judges has thrown it out. The most recent case was supposed to start in January 2010. As usual, the judge dismissed all of the charges in the end of October, stating that he may consider a motion to reconsider. That will never happen.

Without a trial and an order from the judge making Obama produce his original birth certificate, we will never know. I agree if Obama does not run for re-election that would be an indication that he is not a citizen of the USA, but is not positive proof.

What FactCheck.org has displayed online is a laser produced print out from a computer database. These so called journalists either do not understand or are simply lying to the public, claiming a print-out is a copy. Why?....is the question?.... What?... is the answer.

Birther is a made up terminology that these journalists have invented to discourage people who make legitimate questions regarding Obama's claim to be born in the USA and a natural born citizen, both requirements to be the president of the USA. There is something very strange in Obama's refusal to show his original BC. Now, I am not claiming that he wasn't born here, but rather that he is hiding something. Why spend millions of dollars to hide his information, when all he need do is put in a call or write a letter to Fukino in Hawaii, asking her to release it.

Andy Martin, a lawyer suing officials in Hawaiian courts for Obama's "ribbon" copy of Obama's 1961 BC Back in the olden days, up until the early 60's, typewriters used ribbons to make impressions on paper. The ribbon copy of a document is one which the typewriter ribbon actually touched.

To date many lawyers in many different states have sued Obama to release his ribbon copy of his birth certificate. Andy martin is currently a candidate, running in Chicago to become their U. S. Senator.

While Andy Martin has found no evidence to prove that Obama was not born in Hawaii, it is important to know that the phony laser-printed BC on Fact Chek . org contains far less birth information than the original typewritten 1961 certificate. Again, no one has seen the original, except possibly Fukino.

What is Obama trying to hide? Why doesn't he release his 1961 original ribbon copy? That would be a small step for Obama to take, but it would be a major step in proving that he is a natural born US citizen. His decision not to release it simply fuels the fires. causing rumors and doubts. Unfortunately, Obama's reputation for becoming The Biggest Liar, also raises more questions and more suspicions.

Is Obama ashamed of something that appears on the ribbon copy of his birth certificate or will it prove that he never should have been allowed to run for the presidency? Yahoo Answers simply does not have the answers. Obama has refused us access to his school transcripts. Why? What is he hiding?

You can't get the case heard because there's no case to be heard.

The 14th ammendment clearly spells out that any person born on American soil is a naturalized American citizen. Last I checked, Hawaii was a state of the USA at the time Obama was born there. Ergo, US citizen.

If I were a judge and you came to me with your argument, I would throw your case out as being irrelevant and kick you out of my courtroom as being a waster of taxpayer's $. Why do you cons insist on wasting oxygen on this topic?

And what do college records have to do with citizenship? Nada.
