What does an up-arrow mean in math when it's NOT an exponent?
In my standardized testing book from kaplan I saw this expression . . .
x (up arrow) 0
It was NOT a carat like you use for exponents and i know that is not what it means. it's like a real arrow -------> except UP. What does it mean?
Thanks,
S

Like in a Venn diagram where two circles overlap. Think of one circle as X and the other as 0. The arrow up could mean where they overlap, or a logical conjunction where X and 0 are true.
