Is this a craigslist scam?

I replied to a posting for a job and I got this response email. Has anyone encountered this before and is it a scam or is it legit? ( I X'd out the dept name and managers name for privacy purposes ;) I also took off the end of the link...

    If they want "too much" personal information, watch out for identity theft. Most reputable companies would not use Craglist to look for employees....

    They host 538 other sites on the same server... (whoever the hosting company is...). The IP address is out of Colorado.

    Their website does not seem to have real contact info, like phone numbers or street address (though I found some in the DNS registration)

    Yes, this is a scam. That is a VERY easy way for identity theives to get your info. If you want to be sure read through http://www.howtobeatcraigslist.uni.cc/ and learn about all the Craigslist scams.

    This is most likely scam, ask for their phone number and talk to them directly. I highly suggest you don't give them any information
