What can I use to decorate this swim cap?
I'm decorating a swim cap as a joke for someone but I don't know what to use on it. I want some writing on it too. Should I just use permanent marker? I also want to put on some rhinestones or something. What kind of glue should I use? I need some materials that won't break off or wash away. I don't know what will work. Any suggestions? It's a silicone one if that matters...

I would try a hot glue gun that has two temperature settings -- cool and hot. The info that came with the one I have showed them gluing something onto an inflated latex balloon, so it should not damage the cap. You will need to be careful about stretching the cap too much, or whatever you glue on will probably pop off.
I would use a Sharpie for the writing. Be careful not to fold the cap over on itself, or the writing will probably bleed over. A sheet of tissue paper would help in that case.
Good luck. It sounds like a fun project.

You can use permanent marker for sure. It will stay on. First you need to know if the cap is made of latex or other materials. Latex may not be able to sustain glue that are made of strong chemical substance.
