gumdrop windows, licorice door (red, not black), candy corn for the ridges on the roof, little candy canes form a gate to an icing walk path with MnM stepping stones...this is a fun question!!!! ooo, you could put marshmallow peeps in the front yard so you have chickens...

that's slightly different than what you requested, i comprehend, yet I certainly have on no account made a gingerbread living house. i needed to yet i presumed it could be too difficult to make the gingerbread and the icing and do all that so I did this instead.....I made a house out of the super marshmallows. I caught them such as toothpicks and made a house shape. Then I adorned it with candy, purely like a gingerbread living house...dusted the "backyard" with powdered sugar. positioned slightly Debbie Christmas tree cake there too and used Hershey bar products to make a walkway. i do no longer remember what I used for the roof, yet you ought to apply graham crackers or beautify cardboard. It became into sooo amazing...and lots much less stressful than doing the entire gingerbread component......purely wanted to furnish you an determination theory. have exciting!!

Chocolate. You need as much chocolate as possible.

Melt white chocolate and pour it over the roof for 'snow'.

make a chocolate stepping stone pathway out of mint chocolate patties.

    Or oreos. Or anything round.

    All candy

I always let my kids do it, then when they're done I just glop on some white THICK frosting for the snow.
