Carbon footprint is but one of many "footprints" you should care about. It's a meme, and doesn't properly represent the climate change issue. If you have a small carbon footprint, congratulations. Too bad you spent way too much on the Nitrogen footprint to make it so.

Organically grown plants and animals require more fertilizers / food than regular products. This requires more fertilizer, which uses nitrogen. We are quickly running out of nitrogen, so by eating organic materials you are screwing the planet over.

Be that as it is, I'm not currently in a position to do much about it. However, I do live in a flat with double glass, eat mass produced foods, only wash weekly, and use public transport. All not as bad for the environment as what most people have.

    Absolutely nothing!

i am not cutting my use of electricity and natural gas in half

i am not changing my two cars

i will not stop traveling by air

i will not become a vegetarian

i will not buy second hand clothes

Reducing my carbon footprint would make me miserable!
