I cooked the chicken to the right temperature, but it's still red inside! How much longer should I cook it for?

I put a whole chicken in the over for a little over one hour. The meat thermometer read that it was the right temperature (about 190 degrees, I think). But when I took it out and started to cut it up, parts of it were still red inside! How much longer should I cook it for?
