Can plasma TVs be reconditioned?

The picture is not as nice as it used to be. There is a lot of "noise", especially in the dark areas. Would it even be worth it? Should I dump it and get an LCD?

Only Panasonic / Samsung / LG Plasma TV is GOOD and RELIABLE. other that above 3 brand Plasma is " junk ".

dump it ! get an Panasonic / Samsung / LG NEW PLASMA TV.

Panasonic, Samsung and LG are reaping the benefits of staying with Plasma TV technology with researchers reporting a 31% jump in global sales. Q1 2009 sales value was up 35% over 2008 according to

Because of NEW Plasma technologies. Plasma Still GREAT and in very reasonable prices.

non of LCD TV reach [plasma pictures Quality.

If you get an low prices LCD TV , is more worth than you OLD Plasma now. unless go for Samsung / Sony / Panasonic / Sharp HI END LCD MODEL. that around 86 % of Plasma quality from Panasonic / Samsung / LG.
