He gets a point for calling Kanye West a jackass.

I'm not certain that you can gauge one leader against another on a scale of 1 to 10 or 1 to 100. Each leader lives in a certain historic period and is faced with problems and is armed with advantages unique to that person. Each leader has strengths and weaknesses and is either bless or cursed with competent or incompetent people at various critical junctions during his term. Also every adminstration has an array of enemies and the outcome of their hindrance can depend on how well organized their opposition is. So far Barack has been attacked and hindered by a very well organized and viperous right wing enemy. Given that he was handed a really bad situation, it appears that what was the Titanic is now a ship on fire but still proceeding under her own power. The problem is that we're not even close to the end game. Overall, he appears to be on top of the situation. He remains cool and has a good team on his side. He deserves at least an 8 or even 9 given the severity and numbers of the problems that he's assumed responsibility for. My bet is that in the end he'll be one of the best presidents we've had, if not, it won't be for lack of trying. My opinion!

I would have to say just a 2 but that is a little bit better than Bush who was one BIG FAT 0.
