Have a question about the python aquarium syphon/cleaner?
ok, heres my dilema, ive been doing this for a few years now, i have a 75 gallon, 55, 30, another 30, and a 10, (started breeding some geo's and plecos) so i own about 10 buckets, 6 of them with heaters in them set to the temp of my tanks, heres the issue, i looked into the python, i have always filled up my bucket, put my conditioners and stress coat in it, sat the buckets overnight, and did my water changes in the morning, i have thoght and have heard from many people with years into the game that chlorine can kill your good bio, so how does the python work, you fill the tank straight from you faucet i understand, and than put yoru conditioners in, isint the fact that your introducting chlorine and all the other **** from your tap into your tank a bad idea??? any info would be great, thanks much

Hello. I also have a python, i couldnt figure how to putthe wtr back in without it having th stress coat So i was using the python to take out the wtr and used my bucket to put the wtr back in wth the stress coat. I tried this for a while then i figured i could just put the stress coat as the wtr was being put back in. I havent had any problems with my fish so i have continued doing it this way.

You use the python to add the water directly back into the tank.
You add the water conditioner directly to the tank.
Add the recommend dose for the tanks total volume not just the amount of water you are replacing.
All water conditioners (DeChlorinators) actually work instantaneously.
I have done it this way for many years with my 220 gallon Discus tank (Imagine how long that would take with buckets!!) with no ill affects.
