so the problem is jackson weighs 68 pounds. a ping pong ball weighs 1/10 of an ounce. how many ping pong balls does jackson weigh? ive tried 1/10x X 16=68 then i tried converting 68 to ounces and got 1/10x X 16 X 16=1088 and that didnt work either. help?

1 pound = 16 oz.
1 oz contains 10 ping pong balls.
16 oz = x
1/16 = 10/x
x = 160 ping pong balls
So 1 pound = 160 ping pong balls.
68 pounds = x
x = 68 * 160 = 10880 ping pong balls.

do 16x68 =1088, which is how many ounces jackson weighs.
then multiplay 1088 by 1/10 = 108.8 or 109 ping pong balls.
