Summer Wedding Colors?

Don't do yellow and black. There are plenty of beautiful, bold, gem-like colors that yellow will accent beautifully, and will look fantastic late afternoon or in the evening.

Tell her to look at colors like a dark raspberry, dark turquoise, etc. Make sure the yellow roses are more of a buttery yellow than a pastel, it'll makes matching colors much easier for her.

If the flowers are going to be yellow roses, shouldn't one of the wedding colors be yellow?

A relative of my husband's did yellow & blue for an August wedding this year -- they looked really good together. It wasn't a dark blue, but more of a medium-blue color. It looked really good together.

Go to David's Bridal and check out the color "Serene" -- its a lovely blue that would look nice with yellow flowers!

Black bridesmaid dresses? For an August wedding???? NOOOOO! How about a very pale yellow, coral (peach) or even a cornflower blue? :)
