Is it okay to delete this?

My computer has "Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003" on it, and I was wondering if it's okay to delete it, or will it mess something up with my computer? I assume it's just Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Oh, and the reason I want to delete it is I don't have the product key for any of it, it came with my computer when I bought it.... And I am probably going to get a new Microsoft Word version soon. And I don't use the other programs (excel, pp, etc.)

Please - Always uninstall programs from Control Panel... Add/Remove Programs (or programs if you are in Win7/Vista).

Don't just delete directories containing programs you no longer use.

But yes - it is safe to uninstall.

Yes, it is safe to delete. Microsoft Office 2003 Standard includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

you shouldnt just delete a software from your computer.

go to control panel and click on uninstall programs. or add or remove programs if you are using xp.

click on the microsoft office student edition and click on remove.

You can get rid of that if you don't use spread sheets or powerpoints or anything like that.
