Hey, my name is Blake and I'm 14. I answer questions to the fullest extent of my ability, and with the fullest extent of my knowledge, and sometimes common sense. I'm sorta a techy person, but not extremely techy and nerdy, I'm a sucker for blue and brown eyes, so ya. I Hope some of my answers help you. Feel free to email or IM me if I'm confusing, or you have a question about my answer, or if you just want to chat. (Formerly BimbeЯѕ, I felt a name/picture change was in order due to too much spam.) I know this has been asked to death, but I need some examples of movies with bad physics?
Keep in mind I'm a 16 year old High school Junior so no Calculus or Trigonometry problems. I need things that I can work out with equations, that just use Algebra. Please include a scene description too! Also, please no "Armageddon" or "The Core" problems. Thanks in advance!
3 AnswersMovies9 years agoMy NETGEAR WNA1000 wifi USB adapter keeps dropping connection?
I'm using this thing right here: http://support.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id... and for whatever reason, it won't keep a connection for more than 5 seconds. It works just fine connecting my desktop to my home's wifi, but when I try to use it on my laptop(because the wifi on it sucks) it doesn't work. Any help?
2 AnswersComputer Networking9 years agoI removed Windows XP Service Pack 2 from my old Toshiba laptop and now it doesn't work?
I recently tried connecting to the wifi in my home on my old Toshiba laptop (it's from early 2000's) to work on it a bit. It kept dropping the wifi, and I read on my phone that if you delete a certain hotfix from SP2, it would fix it. I went to the Microsoft website to investigate, and it says that this certain hotfix could mess with the wifi connection. I read their guide on how to delete this hotfix. Long story short I removed "Windows XP Service Pack 2" and now my laptop will not work. It will turn on, and I can open programs but it freezes. Whenever I mouse over the toolbar at the bottom, the mouse does the sandglass "waiting" symbol. Is there a way to fix this?
2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoWho are the actors in this commercial?(video link in details)?
Here is the video on youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nV_EeI6AeEk
If you know any of their names, or only one of their names, I would be very thankful!
Also, if you could include who they "play" in the commercial that would also help. Thanks!
1 AnswerReality Television1 decade agoComputer virus installed porn on my computer I think--help!?
Ok so I woke up this morning to do some stuff on my computer and I was Shocked to see that 3 porn website links(nudetube.com,pornotube.com and another one I can't remember) were installed on my desktop. I NEVER look at porn on my computer, and I don't know why they are there. Oh and there are 3 other icons installed on it too that weren't there last night when I was on.(they are named something like spam001, span003 and troj000) I'm running a malwarebytes scan right now and I'm hoping that will help but I want to make sure that:
1.my computer is safe to use
2.I want to know how to COMPLETELY get rid of these links(guides would be nice)
3. If Avast! is a good anti virus.
6 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoAnnoying pop-ups? Please help?
((MAKE SURE YOU READ THE WHOLE STORY)) Ok, this is the background story. So yesterday I was doing some research for a project and I googled a website and as one of the results was a link(it was like #4 from the top) to it. I click the link and it took me to a COMPLETELY different site. I closed to internet window, started a virus scan(I have AVG free) and it came up with 3 viruses, (2 were trojan horses, and the other one was a file that made a reference to a corrupted registry or something like that). I came home today to get on my computer, and I tried and tried to open the internet, and it was unresponsive. I logged off, logged back on and a window comes up(titled "Resident Shield Alert" from AVG) and it said I had 6 more trojan horses. I told it to remove them and it said it sent them to the virus vault. So now, when I google things and it says it's a link to a respected website, it takes me to a random "shadowy" website sometimes, for instance I just googled "anti virus program" and the first link to was a website that said "toolbar.google.com" and it took me to a website that was nothing like google, second, when I get on to any website(youtube, facebook, google, etc.) it gives me random pop-ups that are all about random things (most of them are about a registry doctor and anti virus program, and/or have something to do with the website I'm on. I use firefox, and have the "Block Pop-Ups" option on. Currently, I'm downloading avast! as I am unhappy with AVG's performance. Now to the questions:
1)How the heck do I get rid of the pop-ups
2)Do you think my computer has a virus
3)If so what should I do
4)Are there any programs I should get that might be helpful(if not ignore #4)

4 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoIs it okay to delete this?
My computer has "Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003" on it, and I was wondering if it's okay to delete it, or will it mess something up with my computer? I assume it's just Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
Oh, and the reason I want to delete it is I don't have the product key for any of it, it came with my computer when I bought it.... And I am probably going to get a new Microsoft Word version soon. And I don't use the other programs (excel, pp, etc.)
