Why do I see alot of people on facebook that have their profile pics set as pokemon?

Did I miss a memo or something? O.o

    This month is Put Pokemon As Your Profile Picture. I dont know why though.

    Yeah so it's super lame. I loved it when I was like 12 but there is no reason that nostalgia for it should take over my facebook. I made a fan page about it lmao. Here's the link:
