Atheists: If you got stuck in an elevator....?

I doubt there would be time for conversation. They would be in the corner gibbering to their god to help them out, while I would be busy actively working toward getting us out. Somehow I doubt I'd get the credit once successful.

I doubt it would be Palin or Beck or anyone famous, since they don't work in my building.

But if I was stuck in an elevator for very long with an evangelical conservative, there's a huge probability that I would say something like, "STFU."

How should I know who it would be? This whole hypothetical question of my getting stuck in an elevator is disturbing all by itself. I'd probably pick Coulter or Palin b/c they're women and they're not bad looking. Maybe the fear of the situation (knowing for example that some one from yaR/S had the power of voodoo over their lives and could make them get stuck in elevators) would push them to get nekkid and freeky with me.

As long as I respected them as people, it wouldn't be a problem.

Palin and Beck and I wouldn't have a problem finding something neutral to talk about.

As far as religion? I'd just explain that I respect their choice of faith but it isn't for me. Then we'd start talking about how screwed up this country is and what can be done to fix it.
