Ebay shipping question - maximum shipping cost?

I'm selling a really big heavy textbook on ebay but under shipping it says the maximum price i can put for shipping is $4.00. As its going to cost me more than $4.00 to ship I want to charge more for shipping but it says it won't post my item if its more than the max shipping price.

What do I do?

Don't sell it on eBay or set a minimum that will pay for the shipping. (The more you put into the price, and the less you put into the shipping, the more money they make from you.)

The another way is that you can write your shipping charges to your description
