PS3: will a Rock Band microphone work with SingStar ?
I'd like to buy just the PS3 SingStar game and use the Rock Band microphone that we already have. Will this work or do I need to buy a specific SingStar microphone ?

OMG! I love SINGSTAR!!! it is so much fun for get togethers, kids nights and holidays. In fact for a while there I would have monthly parties and we all enjoyed singing and jamming out to all of the collections on PS2. Unfortunately I haven't upgraded to PS3 because the PS2 games are not compatible with the PS3. I am so disapointed in that, but I would think that the rockband mic is not compatible either only because each singstar games have their own red and blue mic's but they are not that expensive if you go to a used game store. i bought extra's for mine for like 10 dollars without buying a whole new singstar game. Only because I have almost all of the singstar collections. Good luck. and glad to hear there are other singstars out there.
