I plan to pay off the remainder of the mortgage on my house this month. Will I still need the buildings insurance that the mortgage lender required during the term of the mortgage, or is this now pointless ? It just covers the rebuild cost of the house. This is in England (UK) if that makes any difference.

I need to find hard cricket balls, in junior size, which are not made of leather. I have found these in senior size, the Everlast, made by the Indian company SG (Sanspareils Greenlands), but it seems they don't do a junior version.

I'd like to buy just the PS3 SingStar game and use the Rock Band microphone that we already have. Will this work or do I need to buy a specific SingStar microphone ?

My 11 year old son has always been pretty good at getting to sleep at bed-time, but recently he's been having difficulty and is often still awake an hour or more after lights-out. If we were waking up early in the morning I would think that perhaps he was needing less sleep now but most mornings I still have to wake him up to get ready for school. He doesn't seem overly tired in the day time though. Does he just need less sleep ? Can I let him go to bed later or will I just shift the problem to a later time in the evening ? Currently I let him read for up to half an hour before lights out. Any ideas on helping him with this or in general on how much sleep an 11 year old needs ?

I had my second DVT/PE earlier this year after a long-haul flight between Europe and the US (previous one was in 2007). It looks like I'll now be on Warfarin indefinitely as there is probably some genetic factor or other disorder which makes me a "serial clotter". Normally I travel between the US and Europe several times a year for business, but now I'm wondering what the risks are in continuing to do this ? The haematologist was very vague but advised against long-haul flights "if possible". Given that I'm on Warfarin and my INR is a steady 2.5 it seems to me that the risks should now be quite low, but I have no way of assessing this risk objectively. I'd be grateful for any thoughts on this or links to data on DVT risks for people already on Warfarin.
