How can I stop drinking chocolate from being lumpy?

Every time I try to mix drinking chocolate or Sustagen powder into milk, it comes out lumpy, no matter how hard I stir it. Fluffy frothy bits float on top and won't ever dissolve. Is there some trick to getting a smooth drink out of these powders? (I prefer cold milk).

When mixing chocolate with cold milk after stirring if you do not use hot milk ? More than likely the chocolate will not dissolve.

Use a bit of warm milk to stir and then add cold milk.

get about 1 tablespoon of hot milk or hot water and just stir in a cup with the drinking chocolate to dissolve! ( it should be smooth and liquidy)

then add the rest of the cold milk.stir. there will be no lumps!

and the drink will still be cold!

    trust me it works!

well you could always use syrup, and i know you said coldmilk, but i find if your making hot coco, the hotter the milk, the mosre the powder mixes in..also mayeb you have a bad milk to powder ratio?
