Can anyone suggest a free knitting pattern site?

Have tried and tried to download free knitting patterns. I have tried to download a beautiful wrap

but the screen then goes on to "purchase" which is not what i want. Help please

    I joined www.ravelry.com/ which is an international online community of knitters, with many forums on yarn, patterns, etc. There are a number of free patterns which you can just download and store, and the ones for sale are reasonable prices. It's also a good place for problem-solving - just ask a question and 20 people from around the world will happily share their knowledge.

    My favorite site is www.lionbrandyarn.com they have great designs and the yarn is easy to find in most craft stores and at a good price!
