SCAM,SCAM,SCAM. Do not trust any of those mails as they just intend to steal your personal information.Claiming the prize is far away as the lottery itself is a fake, bogus!
♦NOTE:- All Yahoo Lotteries are ‘FAKES’. Just delete those types of Mails.
►See here what Yahoo has to say about lottery prizes and stuff. Its just a 'phishing' attempt to steal your personal info. (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/abu... )
►Just report those types of E-mails to the address below▼
(phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com ) , (spoof@yahoo.com ) or (abuse@yahoo.com )
►Report using this address, for various Scams and also for any phishing attempts. You can stay safe online by doing this. (http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/identify.php )
NEVER open mails from people you don't know nor reply to them! Mark it as ‘SPAM’ and move on. Opening or replying to those mails just confirms the sender that your E-mail account is active to send you more of such fake mails. DON'T trust them!!

Yes, it is a scam, Yahoo has no lottery, reward program, promotions, or contests. Not even an Anniversary reward team.
When an E-mail offer sounds too good to be true, then it is definitely not true.
It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money.
Do not respond to it.
Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.
For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya...
Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.
Also, if the E-mail appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.
