If plants need CO2 to photosynthesize, why are we not re-foresting like crazy to soak it up?

thats always the answer when it comes to problems.

also remember trees are carbon neutral and so when a tree dies and rots it releases all that carbon back (unless it is berried and becomes a fossil fuel). See the connection there?

Thats why cutting down trees is twice as bad as just not planting trees.

We should be. Tell that to the people who are cutting down the forests. Rain forests cut, wood harvested for pulp paper by clear cutting, parking lots covering land that was once covered with growing plants, etc.

Ah! Honey, no you're incorrect. A plant does choose CO2. it is between the aspects interior the chemical equation. vegetation destroy down the CO2 to make glucose (sugar!) interior the Calvin-Benson Cycle (darkish reactions). Your 2d question. A plant can photosynthesis for a little while w/o gentle. yet is could have the ATP & NADPH from the gentle reactions (Photosystem a million & 2) to gasoline the Calvin-Benson Cycle. verify your consequences back. as properly, IDK why you may you potassium pellets. it could be KOH (a fairly risky liquid variety). Your test is truly unusual for photosynthesis. i might perchance verify the classes. attempt to locate one approximately edolea in attempt tubes w/ gentle. have faith me. way extra suitable. And stable success!

    Because people are ignorant.

And only care about the money more than their own lives.

But I'm not talking in general, you know there are still good people in this world.
