i heard the PSP can act as a iPod and hold songs. How do i go about downloading songs onto it?

seriously...? its easy just connect it to the computer, some files will show up and open the one that says MUSIC, just drag your songs there and buuyaah! make sure you have a memory stick larger then 32mb if you want a lot of songs

If you have a memory stick get the PSP to format it. This will put Music/Video/Photo empty files on the card. Take it out the PSP and put it in a card reader. Select music file and open it (it will be empty) while open drag and drop your mp3 files to it. If you plug the PSP into your PC via USB plug and go to firmware upgrade or PSP shop you can upgrade the player to play mp3 and other music files too. You may be able to get internet radio on it......I did.
