People inherit all sorts of things that prevent them from procreating. Often people inherit things that kill them before they are old enough to procreate. The reason those genes are still around is because they are recessive genes.

So the child would have to inherit this gay gene from both parents in order to be gay. Much as I inherited my blonde genes from both parents even though both had dark hair.

I'm afraid you misunderstand. It isn't homosexuality itself, it is the potential to produce homosexual offspring that is genetic. Non-reproducing individuals improve the chances of any additional children within the family group without adding any children themselves as homosexuals do not generally reproduce.

If homosexuality disproves evolution in your mind, why don't ants and bees raise an eyebrow? They produce an overwelming number of non-reproducing individuals to run the nest/hive and care for the offspring of their mother. You aren't questioning why it is that worker ants and bees haven't died out yet though, have you?

This, to me, shows a simple bias against evolution and homosexuality. The fact that you say you "believe the gays" on the other hand suggests an even greater bias against evolution.

Homosexuality is NOT genetic...it is a choice. I know people that used to be gay, then decided how wrong it was and became straight. There is not any gay gene, and there never will be. It's an identity problem, a person that is searching where they belong at. Although, they are confused about the reasons and ideas surrounding their decision. It is morally wrong. If God consented to gays, he would have made Adam and Steve. End of discussion.

You really shouldn't be posting about genetics/science. Conservatives don't have the brain power to understand it. Just listen to college professors. They're almost all liberals and therefore right.

Some people are bi....some people are different degrees of gay.

So bi people can pass down the trait when reproducing.
