What's the cheesiest item in your tacklebox?
I was going to post these in response to Chadd's "What's the oldest item in your tacklebox that you actually use?" question, but I realized that I don't use them, so it doesn't count...
These are out of the tacklebox that I inherited from my grandfather... the first one needs new hooks installed, and even so, I'd hate to lose it on a snag or something, so I doubt I'll be using it any time soon...
(sorry about the fuzziness on the first pic)

Yes, it has a little string in it's mouth that, when pulled, makes the tail go "floppy-floppy-flop"
and then there's:

(And yes, I think he actually used some of these! One day, I might break down and use some of them as well...)

Ok, now that I've thoroughly embarassed myself, it's you guys' turn.

Heck, I've owned and used ALL the "guaranteed to catch a lunker" lures.
Moto lure, Flying lure, Helicopter lure, Pocket fisherman, Etc.
That's why I try to persuade people not to be suckered by info-mercial lures!
I am the "original" sucker! (LMAO)
(PS- Of all the bogus lures out there, it's my opinion that the Flying Lure was the most viable lure available. They actually worked quite well! Esp for flippin' docks for Bass.)
Currently, the "silliest" lure in my box is 3 of these- http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/...

When I was about 10, I caught a keeper bass on a black/silver Storm Chug Bug. My dad told me to put it on because it looked good (and he figured it'd give me something to do). Within a couple minutes of popping it and not knowing how to use it, ka-BLOOSH! A bass had hit it. That's why he put it in my box. So now, fifteen years later, two big tackle boxes are completely and fully loaded to the brim of topwater lures.

I don't have any cheesy lures in any of my boxes (sorry), but I do own one fugly (f'n ugly) looking thing that I caught a bass on. It's a jig head that looks like one you'd use for tubes (sorta), the head is yellow, and it's about 1/4oz. GLUED onto this is one of the ugliest tube/grub/jig I've seen in my life. Tomorrow, I'll upload a pic to show you. It's got like two flapping wings at the bottom along with some fur, and there's like little alien legs coming out of the top.
I went to a creek where I wouldn't getting hit on anything. Tied it on and caught about a 7 or 8inch bass.

Its not necessarily the cheesiest lure, but I have the same popper in its original package. It's called a Power Pak Lure. Its an antique by now.
Fisher_King, you forgot the one that takes the cake... The Banjo Minnow!

You would be surprised that there are people out there that would love those flying lures. Add some Banjo Minnows to this box and you have the "made for TV" tackle box.

so the first one is a popper. may not be a good color but its a good lure.
and the 2nd ones are tubes. those work great for bass.
