Truth about Floyd!! Why do they hate him so much. fact six titles five weight classes with zero loses.?
Most people say because he talks smack. Hes never gotten respect from the start when he tried to be humble he couldnt get a fight from none of the top guys. Roach has been trainer of the year and he said on 24/7 that he doesnt beleive in God so what. Why not show money off because since they dont give you are your family respect atleast they see you cashing checks.

The hatred of Floyd has gone to crazy levels. It's one thing to not like the flash, the money, and the antics...but some people's hatred have fallen into criticisms of Floyd the fighter which are ridiculous.
1) Some criticize Floyd defense and call him a runner when he is a defensive genius and the best in this era.
2) Some try to actually say he isn't undefeated...when the fact is he is 40-0 and that includes beating Castillo (twice), first time with an injury. Some of these people try to say Oscar was robbed in their bout which is crazy. Would boxing more likely rob Floyd the black sheep or Oscar the Golden goose?
3) Some try to say Floyd has fought no one...when he has beaten 14 World Champions.
4) Some try to say all he does is fight smaller competition, when he's moved up in weight 5 times making him the little guy coming up. Only Hatton and Marquez were truly smaller.
5) Some try to criticize his lack of offense...instead of crediting him for being one of the most accurate punchers ever and not wasting punches like some.
When you can't separate fact from fiction, you are just blinded by hate.

PS Darth Revan...MMA is horrible. Jerycs, I doubt it because Floyd did not get his proper credit on his first retirement. nepster, every fighter fights for the money...Floyd just says it. that's why there are managers and promoter working on even Pacquiao's behalf to make sure he gets top dollar...Floyd just keeps it real. Kobra, Floyd ducking the best at 147 is the biggest myth in this forum. He fought the most lucrative fights but when he became the Undisputed Welterweight / Ring champion...he beat the champ and the man who the champ beat to get the title (Baldomir and Judah) at that time the best in the division.

Some clever boxers deliberately assume the role of a villain, of the anti-social to call attention to themselves. If Floyd had assumed the goody-goody role, would people talk about him today despite his outstanding professional record? I don't believe so. Floyd came at a time when the fair-haired boy of boxing in the USA and world-wide was Golden Boy Oscar de la hoya whose good looks and Olympic record precede him. How would an average-looking Afro-American compete with ODLH? No way! No match! So if you were Floyd, what would you do? The truth is, many people and fight fans do not care very much if you have 100 wins and no losses. They care about how you look, how you comport yourself, how you behave in public. Goody-goodies are a penny a dozen. But trash-talking boxing millionaires are still a rarity. Of course, it could be a put-on or it could be his natural character. Either way, it is working effectively for him.

He comes off as arrogant and self absorbed in his interviews, not to say Floyd iin real life is like but this is the role he plays so he kind of gets what he was asking for right? Plus everyone knows he was ducking the best welterweights, maybe he had good reasons but when your last two fights are against a jr. welter in Hatton and a lightweight in Marquez it kind of just reinforced what many people been saying the whole time. I mean we just didn't make all this stuff up the media been calling chicken for years and then Mosley came in the ring and challenged him and he backed down. What's up with that?

No one, at least, I am not negating his talent. What bugs me about Floyd is that he cares more for fame and money than he does for the sport. His arrogance, his mouth is BEYOND belief. That is what I can't get passed.
Regarding being pound for pound, its TRUE. He WAS. But then he RETIRED. He stepped out of the boxing line so to speak. The PEOPLE have MOVED on and crowned a new pound for pound king and that's Manny. Floyd couldn't stand the fact that Manny was now the money maker and gaining more recognition than him so he announced his so called come back. BUT SO WHAT?! Yes, his record is clean but no one, maybe except, hard core fans, will accept the fact that the BOXING world has moved on to a new star and that's Manny.
Plus, the timing of Floyd's come back is questionable. Basically, he's trying to steal some of the spotlight from Manny. Manny will get ALL of the spot light back on March 13th.
Long story short...Floyd's mouth gets in the way of his record. Tell him to SHUT UP. Then perhaps people will actually recognize him for what he does rather than what he says.

Talk promotes fights, Just ask Muhammed Ali. People Love to hate Floyd, they'll spend Millions just to see him get beat. But as we all know he just continues to cash the checks, talks the mess, and kicks a little azz in the process. Now ain't that the American way... lol And in terms of the Haters...
Hate on.

because he is the best and flaunts it and shows off about it kind of what the university of Miami is to college Football, they were the best and everybody hated them because they would always flaunt it and show off about it, which is the same thing floyd does in boxing, so anybody going up against floyd is going to billed the "good guy", but what pacman fans don't get is that sometimes in real life is that the good guy doesn't always win

Reason why do THEY hate him SO MUCH!:
1. an EGO as BIG as his BALLS!
2. an ARROGANCE Based on his CHERRY-PICKED fights!
3. a MOUTH as LOUD as a MACHINE GUN!
4. COMMENTS as INSENSITIVE as a HIMSELF
Here is the thing, as a boxer he is absolutely as great as other all time legends.Eventhough some are contesting about the intensity of bouts he has fought, still it is NOT a GROUND for HATING FLOYD! It is because of his ARROGANCE, LOVE for his ZERO and his LOUDMOUTH. Add it up with the way his dear father make up his mind.

"The fact that Mir worked hard in training to emulate Pacquiao's technique is a testament to just how far the Filipino superstar has come. Not only is he an influence in boxing, but he's also an influence in mixed martial arts as well. Needless to say, you probably won't be seeing to mixed martial artists implementing Floyd Mayweather's shoulder-roll techniques."--- Andre Zurbrug LMAO!
Hope this helps.

Floyd's skills are unmatched and unparralleled. However, he contradicts himself ALL the time. He talks about softening ODLH and Hatton for Pacquiao. What about all his opponents that have been softened up? Only Corrales and Hatton were undefeated primes elite at the time they fought, but let's face it...Hatton looked like rubbish at 147. Gatti, softened up with 6 losses when facing Floyd. Baldomir-softened up with 9, yes 9 losses at the time they fought (he had a lucky night against Judah...let's call a spade a spade). Judah, softened up 3 times by the time they fought...and YES, it was him who did the chicken dance after being hit by Kostya Tszyu. ODLH, softened up 4 times by B-hop, Mosley and Trinidad. Chop Chop Corley, softened up 3 times by the time they fought and beat to a bloody pulp about 8 times afterwards, Sharmba Mitchell, softened up 4 times by the time they fought. Marquez, softened up 4 times. So you can see, he takes credit for Pac's victories, but doesn't give credit to the ones that softened up his opponents BEFORE him.
Also, he always claims that "legacy don't pay bills". He does it for the money. That's fine. But don't whine and complain that you don't get any credit for your opposition when you state that you fight for the money. Which is it? If you're fighting for money, that's fine, but don't complain when people criticize you about your choice of opposition. If you're fighting for legacy, don't say crap like "legacy don't pay my bills".
This is why I don't like Floyd. He's loud, obnoxious, and arrogant. He relishes playing the bad guy, but at the same time complains about always being painted as the bad guy. He's a walking contradiction, but he has more talent in one finger than most do in their entire body.
