It is never healthy to lose more than 1-2 pounds per week. Slow and steady wins the race.

You are absolutely doing it wrong. You can't survive on one meal a day. Your body isn't getting enough nutrients so it feeds off of your muscles and your metabolism slows down. When that happens, it's much easier for everything to turn to fat and you end up worse than when you started. Like you have...
You're supposed to eat more meals per day (6, actually) but obviously much smaller. That keeps your metabolism working faster and you'll burn more fat with a better chance of keeping it off.
You'll have more energy too, but you'll be hungry all the time since your metabolism will be in overdrive so don't over eat.

You starved yourself so when you started eatting again you could not maintain.
the best way I have found to lose weight (lost 70lbs) is eating 6 small meals a day plus the exercise
I really liked the curves diet I was never hungary and I have learned that i can lose weight and not starve the Curves diet teaches you how to eat on the glyecmic index be full and still lose weight, with this you learn the difference between good and bad carbs and you will be able to keep it off because it is a diet that you can really follow. http://www.theclearancespot.com/servlet/the-46/Cur...
