In column I I have a list of states, in column B I have whether those people from those states can attend a conference or not.

I am trying to find a formula that will count the number of acceptances from a certain state so I can keep track. I googled CountIf formulas but I came up empty handed.

My kindergarteners have a behavioral system at their school (separate classes). Green is good, Blue is great, Purple is excellent and Pink is outstanding. My kids usually come home with any color except pink. Today when I got home my daughter said she got purple, but my son said he got pink. I guess without realizing I may have praised my son more so then my daughter because getting pink is hard and very surprised and excited that my son got it.

My daughter seemed bummed even though I gave her praise too and said she should be happy about the purple.

Has anyone with multiple kids run into this problem, with trying to balance out the praising so one kid doesn't feel left out?

I was watching it the other day, but I had never read the book. Throughout the movie there were always kids in the house, even when Albert's kids were grown there were still alot of kids around. they were not Celie's kids. Whose kids were they?

I was thinking of trying the ABCmouse thing, it's interactive computer games that help steer them to learning. I have been working with them but I have no clue on how to keep their focus. Anyone try this and have seen good results?

In the beginning it shows Hunter and the women who stole him. So how did he end up getting adopted by someone else? And who was Robbie? Was he another stolen kid? I have seen part 3 but I saw no connection

I have 5 yr old twins and this always happens, one of them will be in trouble for whatever reason so the other will swoop in and tell me how good they are behaving. I don't want to say yes you are and have the other one feel bad, but I don't like to ignore their being good behavior either

at the end of the movie Bastian calls out the name for the Child like Empress, what name did he call out?? I could never understand him when I was young and I watched this movie again just recently...20 yrs later...and I still can't understand what he's saying.

We are serving 6 different sandwich platters at a work function and each platter will have two different kind of sandwiches on them. I wanted to make cute label signs to let people know which sandwich is which.

I was thinking of paper on a stick and put in the middle of the platter but not sure how to make it stay. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I need something quick and cheap for lunch and I don't have alot of time so I was gonna just have a small ham and cheese hotpocket from the vending machine and a salad. That would fill me up but would it be a big mistake to eat?

I put on 15 lbs which is not alot to some people but it is to me. I need help losing it again. My biggest weakness is food, I love to eat food. I know you have to eat but I tend to eat too much. Is there a appetite suppressant you can recommend just to get started??

My b/g twins are turning 5 yrs old this Nov and it's the first year they want to have a themed birthday. My son wants Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and my daughter wants a princess theme. So I'd like to do without having to spend a fortune and could use some creative ideas.

So far, my idea is to have it at my house with has a living room and a family room. I was going to have the TMNT party in the family room where I can put a DVD on, then have the princess party in the living room. I'm not sure if I want to bother with games since everyone will be separate and just let them play, eat then leave. I believe it will be around 8 kids and several adults.

Is there really a difference in the two? Like if you talked to both would you know whose and American and whose a Canadian?

I'm a vicodin user, but am trying to get off them completely. In the last month I have been able to wean myself off them by limiting what I take. I went down to only a quarter of a 10 mg vic a day, which is really good. Now I am completely out of them and trying to do this now without any safety nets. Anyone have any advice on how to make it through the workday when you start getting the blah feeling? Or get the achy feelings?

I have never been good at dieting or diet fads but I am trying to limit my quantity and spend less. I am having lunch with my team today at a place that I normally get a cheeseburger with fries, but I think I may just get one of the items instead. I know both are bad but what would be least bad...salt-less fries with ranch or a cheeseburger with ketchup and mayo only?

Don't say salad because this place charges a ridiculous amount for iceburg lettuce!!

Hi, I have a question I'm hoping someone can help. I made a validation list with over 10 items so I have a scroll through to find what I need to choose. Is there a way to expand the drop down box so it opens everything on the list so you wouldn't have to scroll down? Thanks

I did a VLOOKUP formula that works but now I have an #N/A and I know how to make it blank by using ISERROR formula. The only problem is that it makes the cell all together blank. So when I want to have it auto populate using the vlookup formula, it stays blank. Almost like the iserror overwrites the vlookup, even though it's all one formula. Anyone ever have this problem?

I might be looking for someone who can come to my house at 6:00 and wait until 7:00-7:30 to wake up my 2 kids, get them dressed and drive them to daycare, that's a mile away? This would just be the mornings. What should I pay for something like that? I was thinking like a $20 gas card and $40 cash a week. Does that sound reasonable?
