Not to be offensive but Canadians vs Americans?

Is there really a difference in the two? Like if you talked to both would you know whose and American and whose a Canadian?

Just curious

Well, as far as an accent, a dead give away is the way they say their "out" "about" etc. It has more of an 'oo' sound than an 'ow' sound. Putting accents away, I can usually tell the two apart because Canadians seem more carefree, calmer and happier than Americans. American people are more dynamic, but at the same time I feel uneasy talking to them because they have so much trauma and baggage in their past. Canadians are like happy retards. Love it.

Yes, there are differences, but usually only people FROM the US and Canada can tell them. The #1 question most hated by Canadians travelling abroad: "so, what part of the States are you from?"

@Jeremy: It's more like "a boat" than "aboot". "Aboot" is a Scots thing.

Of course there are differences because we are ALL individually different from one another.

Yes, there is a difference... but in terms of accent, you don't really notice one.
