dumb question about The Color Purple?
I was watching it the other day, but I had never read the book. Throughout the movie there were always kids in the house, even when Albert's kids were grown there were still alot of kids around. they were not Celie's kids. Whose kids were they?

When Celie arrived, they were his kids from a former marriage.
When the kids were grown, those were his grandchildren.
