Cheeseburger or fries w/ ranch?

I have never been good at dieting or diet fads but I am trying to limit my quantity and spend less. I am having lunch with my team today at a place that I normally get a cheeseburger with fries, but I think I may just get one of the items instead. I know both are bad but what would be least bad...salt-less fries with ranch or a cheeseburger with ketchup and mayo only?

Don't say salad because this place charges a ridiculous amount for iceburg lettuce!!

Get a hamburger "dressed" (lettuce/tomato if you like that/pickle) (no cheese) toss the bun...eat the patty and the veggies...cheap and not nearly as high in fat/calories as if you ate the cheese and bun or put fatty ranch dressing on fried potatos...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that crap...but if you're even pretending to "eat right' or "eat better" you should at least make an effort to make your selections less UNhealthy...

Besides, diets are a waste of time...if you aren't going to make a lifestyle change and eat right and exercise, you might as well not waste your time or deprive yourself...a treat now and then is fine...but, it's your body, treat it as you will...

I personally think you should go with the cheeseburger. It'll fill you up more and keep you full for longer than the fries, and it's just a little bit better for you. If it's possible to go without mayo, then do so. Maybe try to put some vegetables on it?
