Twin b-day ideas from power moms?
My b/g twins are turning 5 yrs old this Nov and it's the first year they want to have a themed birthday. My son wants Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and my daughter wants a princess theme. So I'd like to do without having to spend a fortune and could use some creative ideas.
So far, my idea is to have it at my house with has a living room and a family room. I was going to have the TMNT party in the family room where I can put a DVD on, then have the princess party in the living room. I'm not sure if I want to bother with games since everyone will be separate and just let them play, eat then leave. I believe it will be around 8 kids and several adults.

I always try and do themed food, you're probably feeding everyone anyways so might as well go along with it.
TMNT - Pizza and Soda
Princess - Finger sized sandwiches, small cookies Tea party food!
I wouldn't bother with games either maybe just, with my kids they always just end up playing and being crazy the whole time anyways lol.
I always go to walmart and get colored plates, cups, napkins, table cothesect. for the TMNT I'd get lots of dark green or smaller packs of red, orange, blue and purple and for the princess I'd get pink and light purple. They have packs for liek $0.99 each and you can't beat that! Just doing that with a few pictures (even if you just print them off the computer) hung around it will look very themey! Good luck
