How do I get my laptop to stop connecting to my neighbors weaker wireless internet singal?
I've tried everything to get my laptop which runs windows vista to stop connecting to my neighbors weaker internet signal. I've gone into manage wireless connections and deleted it from the list. I've also unchecked the box for connecting to other signals. But everytime I turn around it's unconnected from my signal and connected to his. What else can I do ?

Suggest to your neighbor he/she puts a password on his Internet connection. This will prevent automatic connection

One straightforward thank you to steer away from it permanantly may be to ask your neighbor to place a password on his router. Ive in no way had plenty success with something i take advantage of wirelessly, be it mac or workstation, connecting to the router i choose for immediately rather of the single it chooses. i've got used the settings pronounced above and it sort of sounds like sometime down the line they constantly revert back to their default by some ability.
