The ferret who plays too rough!?

My ferret likes to chase and bite toes. I've tried it all. Socks, shoes, bitter apple spray. She just doesn't care! My feet are far too much fun! Now here's the real problem, I've tried the scruffing thing as a last resort. All it gets me is a ferret who rolls on her back, still trying to play of course, and a bite on the hand. I cant get to her scruff! She always rolls and bites me. I know this is not aggression, but at this point i don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Update:

She is about 1. I just got her about 2 weeks ago.

She probably is just playing because that's what my ferret does too. He loves socks and toes. and everything else. You should either buy him Peanut Butter treats [my ferret LOVES them] and she will love them. Or either get her some chew toys, like at my local Petco there was Fruit blocks and we hang them from his cage and he loves to chase it. so, you can try that. Ferrets love to play, because Ferrets sleep at least 20-22 hours a day, and they just want to play.

I hope I helped! =] Happy Holidays and God Bless<3

Manda has a possibility posted here and I would not think she was playing! Another thing you might try is a spray bottle of water turned down the nozzle to a stream and squirt her!

if she gets a grip of your hand the best thing to stop her without hurting her i always keep a small basin filled with cold water if shes got a hold of you put your hand in the water dont hold her head in the water just put the hand shes attached to as soon as the cold water hitts her nostrels she will let you go fast i had a vicious pole cat who bit for the fun i done this to him twice ive still got him and 4 others and hes a reformed character hasnt bit me in 5months thats a record for him it doesnt hurt them at all unlike the pinging the nose scruffin them etc

If it's a baby, it's normal, but don't let it fly by, correct her.. or he. If it's an adult I don't think I have a clue on what to do.
